i picked up on the bolded part. tribes selling slaves because they can harvest a bunch more is not manipulation. there's no need to tell me about how horrific the slave trade was as i'm aware, but don't try to shift blame from those complicit.
your entire post is confused. you have no idea whether anyone in gaza has ever been a slave, and for sure you never have been. but no, i'm asking a straight question: would you sooner be black in america or palestinian or gaza?
History is very clear about where the blame should be placed. Europeans' greed is what fueled the transatlantic slave trade, nothing else. If it was simply a matter of the Europeans amicably trading with the natives of other lands for a few slaves or indentured servants (who were already serving masters), it would have been nothing more than a blip in history. It's the sheer brutality and the scale of the transatlantic slave trade, coupled with the social and genetic programming employed to maintain such a system for so long, that makes it unique in human history. There is no need to shift blame...as it falls squarely where it should.
No you're confused, because you have no idea what it is to be ether, yet you're speaking on a topics like you know what its like to walk in those shoes.
stop pretending you didn't attempt to shift blame from those complicit, and trying to put words in my mouth.
i hate to break it to you sunshine, but you have no more experience of slavery than i. besides, you have no idea who i am or what i know, and that's ignoring the fact that your post is another feeble attempt to avoid answering a straight question. and lastly, if you thought the author was asking for floyd to act as a rôle model, you are indeed confused.
Try to keep up, man. What I said was clear. If you want to agree to disagree, that's fine. It was an interesting debate. But, let's not start with the troll posts.
Iv already answer your ****ing question.. Like I said its better to die on your feet then live on your knees.. If you don't understand that statement then why the **** you even commenting?! to put it bluntly if I were living there I would be fighting too ! No but I do know what its like to be oppressed, and I do know what its like to be riding your bike at 10year old, and being taken to a police station to have my mug shot taken. I also know what its like to be 13 and have a grown as 30year old white man trying to fight me because of my color. I also know what its like to shot by my own people as well as other ethnic groups because of who I am and my color. I also know what its like to lose love one to prejudice (murder) and not have a damn thing done about. I also know what it feel like for cops to beat your ass call you a ****** while doing and know, if they wanted to kill you right then and there , there was not a damn thing that would happen to them. What make even worse is that they tell you this while beating your A$$! I bet that never happen to you !! So **** you and your silver spoon *****!!! because you will never know or even come close to knowing. All door are open to you until you close them , all door are close to me and unless I find a way to open them !
keep up? troll posts? you clearly portrayed those complicit in the slave trade as manipulated. i dispute that.
you didn't answer my question, you posed your own and responded to that instead. like an evasive politician who knows he's in the wrong. so have another go halfwit, would you rather be black in america or palestinian in gaza? incidentally, you lost your bet. difference being, i chinned a coupla old bill when i was getting it. so back to my initial point, you don't have a monopoly on social injustice. and to reiterate, you don't even know my cultural heritage, you utter, utter imbecile.
forget dumb assatsch if were in gaza id fight! jezz ur thick I don't have to know your heritage you dumb **** !! If you were the decedent of an oppressed or being oppressed, we would be having this conversation now would we ? The only reason we are having it is because YOU CAN'T RELATE !
i'd fight too, but that's not an answer to my question. we're having this conversation because although i can relate, you've decided i can't, based on an incorrect and frankly irrelevant assumption you've made about my cultural heritage. you absolute clown.
