Re-read the thread as$hole. I stated my opinion and the TS corrected that opinion.

    Mind your f*cking business anyway.

Actually, Fletcher was GGG's mandatory and GGG chose to fight Geale instead. Although neither one really posed a threat to him, he felt that Geale was the bigger name and therefore a bigger payday. Same with Quillin, He has no problem fighting Korobov but he feels that Jacobs is the better money and higher profile fighter in the USA. Now, I wouldn't mind seeing Jaacobs and Korobov, and Quillin and GGG, with the winner taking on the winner.

He said he didnt want the home crowd to get in his head and make him gas out so said he made a consious effort to wait a bit.... said sometimes guys are tricky and wait for a few rounds to go by to start going to work and he said as soon as he saw it was actually nothing to worry about he went for the kill.

    Thought Jacobs looked good.

He completely destroyed a fringe contender.

Fletcher had a few ok wins, and had a solid amateur pedigree and Jacobs walked right through him.

Not sure how you could see much wrong with the performance

People are just mad he didn't wipe Fletcher out in 2 rounds & took his foot off the gas. I thought he looked fine against an opponent he was clearly levels above in talent. I do have some concerns about him at the top level, but time will indeed tell. At this moment, I'd fear for him against GGG.

What exactly is it that people saw a flaw in?

He destroyed the guy in 5 rounds and didnt lose a round.

    Exactly.
In fact the very fact that he paced himself so he wouldnt gas out, showed me an extra dimension to his game - maturity.

    He won as he pleased.
    What more do people want????

You might disagree, but 3 and 4 rounds were even, although it seems like Jacobs just took the foot off the gas pedal for cautious reasons. I think that there is no chance Fletcher could have pulled it off though.

Dont even bother responding to these keyboard warriors. They got hot or cold in a blink.
Jacobs can unify the middleweight division, move up in weight and KO andre ward, adonis stevenson. Murder bhop. All of a sudden his cancer will hypothetically return in a fight vs Kovalev and he will get KO'd.......then everyone will call him a bum and **** on his career.

boxing fans have no respct for the game.....Danny looked sensational.

He looked good enough to be a paper belt holder, ehich is all he really is at the moment. Fletcher was god awful, how that was for a title I have no idea. Hopefully jacobs will attempt to prove boxing fans wrong by following this up with a fight against a top level fighter (ggg, cotto, or even soliman and quillen would be cool)
