I wonder how Tua would handle Frazier's bob and weave style. He is not an easy target to hit and he will be throwing many punches at Tua head and body. David canh hit but he also has to be able to land these heavy punches and do not think he will be landing bombs from the opening bell. He will have to figure out how to deal with Fraziers speed and power and defense at the same time land his own punches.
Well that's your opinion and you are entitled to it. I have watched almost all the fights of both fighters in question and I have very little doubt that Tua would beat Frazier. I am not making the claim that Tua had a better career nor am I doing any mental gymnastics comparing their performances against other fighters with unrelated styles. Just man to man I believe Tua would beat up Joe Frazier based on what both men would bring to the table against each other. The Deontay Wilder point is bizarre, out of context and out of place in the discussion.
Prime or no prime, Frazier was equally easy to time as was Tua, they were on the same level defensively, that is - average, not bad, but not something to admire.
Quit drinking the koolaid,Frazier was a punching bag. That's why his career was essentially over at 30 years old. If you watch his fights objectively the first thing you'd notice was how easy he was to hit. This weakness was exposed against the very few power punchers he faced. That aggressive come forward style would leave him vulnerable to Tua. "He's (Frazier) always in front of you and he's easy to hit."- Joe Louis
the Wilder comparison is relevant, Tua never beat anyone worth of note throughout his career, his mythic power is based on koinghis **** poor oppositon just like Wilder. name me ONE durable fighter he actually beat? Frazier weathers the storm and beats the **** out of Tua like Ike did.
I watched Frazier make Ali miss shot after shot at the same time coming forward and banging him up and downstairs.
That's why he spent so much time in hospital after the 1st fight, avoiding getting hit tired him out?
:rofl:rofl Wilder hasn't beat a top 40 fighter yet, Tua actually beat ranked, name fighters. Stiverne is going to destroy him later this year.
