So it's OK for Dawson to move down in weight to fight Ward but it's not OK for Ward to move down in weight to fight Golovkin.

And who said GGG is not willing to move down and fight Cotto.

In a PPV fight. Ward is not PPV and no way has Cotto offered that fight.

Any source even remotely hinting that K2 has invited Ward down?

Last I heard on Ward he'd filed a new claim against Goosen, and Danish tabloids were suggesting he might travel to Kesslerland for a fight (though I ain't quite sure how this squares up).

I ain't heard nada about this one tho.

I'm a Golovkin fan and not a ward fan but if Golovkin wants to fight for the super-middle tittle them ward shouldn't have to fight at anything other than his normal fighting weight . But if there was no title on the line then the weight could be an agreed upon weight

Why haven't they accepted it already if they feel Golovkin can make it?

Team GGG never asked Ward to come down. Wards lawyer told Ring that they might be willing to all on their own.

It was never offered, people are treating Roach's offhand commentary about bringing GGG down in weight if they fought as some sort of solid offer of which there have been none publicly made.

Never officially offered + Canelo being a possible lucrative fight for Cotto.

    Truth. :deal

... On that limited and narrow interpretation of the thread... Sure I am in agreement... But the thread us directed to the numerous threads regarding GGG fans complaining that Cotto would fight GGG at a catch weight in order to make it even fight since Cotto is a ver small MW...and Cotto has the belt and more important ly the draw power which equate to potentially huge exposure and payday for GGG...
