exactly my point. he could continously land on holmes all night as he is much than just a big punch, taller, more reach and power with atg jab. Shavers is limited in boxing skills, so if he cant back up his right hand he aint going to beat you.

Larry holmes UD in the usa as he outspeeds wlad.
    in germany
    Wladimir UD

    No Ko's either way.

I asked Larry this question when KJ fought Sconiers, and Larry's response was:

"Im glad I was born 40 years earlier. From jabs, to hooks, uppercuts, footwork, ring brains (Ring IQ /Smarts), to all the little details [Klitschko] does that you don't see would lead him to victory over 12 or 15 round".

holmes by savage knockout. ask yourself, would larry holmes lose to bums like puritty, brewster and sanders?

he'd ko prime Brewster and purrity, but theres no way he fights such a low level opponent as sanders.

No, only to the great Brian Nielsen and Oliver McCall...ah right, not in his prime, yes?
But the Purrity-Loss 15 years ago is of course always an Argument against the unbeaten Champion for a decade and counting

Mute point. A 36 year old Wlad isn't losing on points to a LHW twice. The Wlad who beat David Haye would demolish a blown up and sliding Spinks. Nor would a prime 32 year old Wlad get outboxed by novice version of Spoon.

I would assume we are talking prime vs prime.

welcome to planet Klitshcko, where Wlad becomes primer as he gets more shot.

Cant wait till hes 50, he'll be the GOAT by then.

Wladimir round 10 KO/TKO. This isn't Reynaldo Snipes or Earnie Shavers. Larry can't get away from Wlad's laser left jab and straight right.

I expect Wlad to intelligently counter with a right hand over Larry's jab, something Larry was vulnerable to his whole career.

It has the same Point as Wlad-Purrity, None when talking about prime.
A 22-old overmotivated Vlad for the first time fighting in his hometown throwing everything at Ironhead Purrity and then collapsing from Exhaustion.
Todays Wlad, and also the one from ten years ago would jab his way to a "boring" 120:108 decision, and he wouldnt lose to Brian Nielsen, as Holmes wouldnt against Purrity. All this "Wlad wouldnt stand a Chance against XY cause XY would have never lost against Purrity is absurd."

Both Holmes and Wlad peaked around the age of 30. Holmes 79 and Wlad in 06.

The biggest difference is Holmes was brought up much slower and carefully, not stepping up with a dangerous world class opponent until he got a washed up Shavers at 29 years of age. By that time, Wlad had already fought Puritty, Sanders, McCline, Byrd, Botha, Mercer, Jefferson, and Brewster..etc.

Wlad was 22 when he lost to Purritty. Holmes was still being groomed and polished at that age, he didn't even turn pro until he was 24.

Planet Hater: Where world class fighters don't learn from their mistakes, have off nights, and fail to evolve in 20 years as a professional. Even when they change trainers while still in their 20s.

I find it difficult to grasp that there simply isn't anybody around as good as Sanders, Brewster, or ****ing Purritty. Maybe Wlad just got better in his late 20s/early 30s with a more well rounded trainer. I know, its a huge stretch of logic, but maybe there is merit in that.

And by this logic Wlad would totally destroy Holmes, Lewis and Tyson.
Cause in no way he is losing to Nielsen, Spinks, Rahman, McCall, Buster Douglas and McBride.

At 25, Wlad was beating top 10 fighters like Byrd and Jefferson when Holmes was feasting off bums in Pennsylvania.

And at 38, Wlad is still the Man at HW while Holmes was bowing out against a 199 lb beefed up LHW Champion looking for his final payday.

Their primes of 28-32 are comprable, so we'll see if Wlad tops Holmes post 40 resume.
