As of the time of your post? This makes me happy. GGG - Froch is one of the best fights that could be made in the sport. Mexico will be waking up in a few hours however and the numbers may shift again. I (reluctantly) signed up to FB just to vote on this poll.
Also, he doesnt have Mayweather type power. Its not like Froch can simply say "I want him" and the fight happens. What if GGG wants to fight Chavez?
GGG will fight Froch at 168, and in the UK. K2 has already confirmed this. The fight would be PPV on Sky Box Office in UK and HBO would pitch in as well for the stream so the money would be there. Froch just needs to say "Golovkin". He is the A-side draw, the ball is in his court. Chavez is not working with TR right now, he wont be fighting Froch or GGG.
I'm assuming Froch / Hearn spoke with team GGG prior to adding his name to the poll (it was originally just Chavez and DeGale I think). I'm also assuming it'd be at 168 also - Froch is the undeniable 'A' side. Damn - I hope this fight happens.
Considering Froch-Groves 2 grossed over £40m while Showtime made a loss on Mayweathers last 2 fights I wouldnt be so sure. Froch is the cashcow of the division and any fighter game enough and looking for a career high payday will be all over a huge money fight in the UK.
Eddie Hearn said in a recent iFL interview that Sky and HBO have told him Froch/Golovkin isn't PPV worthy, with DeGale likely to be made if Chavez Jr falls through.
