I truly believe this. The guy gets A+ marks across the entire board. His footwork is incredible. Dude is NEVER out of position. Blazing fast w/ power. I love his long distance uppercuts from the outside. Defense mixes seamlessly and flawlessly with his offense. I would say his D is a step above Floyd's. I've also never once seen the guy breathing hard, so his stamina and conditioning is beyond even the elites like Floyd, Pac, Bradley, and Tim.

Only negatives are style, low work rate, and a somewhat shaky chin.

I generally disagree with your opinion and your methods of getting them across, but you might be onto something here. Of All-Time, I can't say, but the most skilled currently, definitely.

TBH, a welterweight version of Rigo would be ducked by both Floyd and Pac. He wouldn't get any fights. He would outbox Floyd (yes, you read that correctly) and school Pac (might get KO'd though).

    Bull****.

He is one of the most skilled at fight off the back foot. If he fought a tall rangy guy, he would be out of his element. That's why he stays in one division.

The best fighters of all time can fight going fowards and going backwards.

Granted, it can be more difficult to fight with an aggressive style going fowards; however, TRUE all time greats like Pacquiao prove it can be done.

Additionally, the same can be said for great orthadox fighters that fight southpaws aggressively.

When Rigo went up against Cordoba for instance, he was knocked down from a jab and barely managed a decision.

    We don't know this.

Rigo has only fought what? 12 people? LOL.

That's not a very deep resume.

See what happens when he fights Santa Cruz before you make that assertion.

I think he beats Floyd in a close decision that could go either way, because although Rigo is better technically IMO, Floyd is great at adapting. I think Rigo beats Pacquiao similarly to Donaire, except Pac gets more rounds than Donaire did. But because of Rigo's suspect chin, he could suffer a knock down, not a KO.

When has Pacquiao fought going backwards? All Time Greats are guys that dominate and over come odds, regardless of how they fight. Backwards, forwards, just win. Rigo stays in one division because he's comfortable there, although he should move up after Santa Cruz IMO. Pacquiao can fight aggressive styles going forward because it suits his style, not because he's an ATG.
