They arent "2nd hand accounts". Papers dont get published because of opinion. All of it is referenced like any academic paper.

STB provided an evidence that has been peer reviewed and you've done terribly in your attempt to cast that evidence as simply an opinion of the author. Look at some of the earlier soviet amateurs that turned pro, almost all them were former soldiers. I believe the Klitschko brother, and Oleg Maskeave were all in the former USSR military.
