Just like danny garcia got the win over herrera, whether you like it or not. You cant argue facts, lara landed more punches at a higher connect rate, numbers dont lie  :hat

Lara won that fight and it was a very clear win .

    I also scored it 116-112 .

Theres just no way anyone can give Canelo more than 5 rnds at best . Ive seen this fight many times , and I cant find more than 5 rnds to give to Canelo .

Theres no other way to score this fight but to Lara and to Lara only .

A draw is even out of the question .

When professional boxers say they couldn't tell if you were boxing or running that means you were running. Even guys who scored the fight for Lara said he was running in rds call a spade a spade.

You can run and STILL win the fight if you land more punches than your opponent and have him missing wildly for the majority of the fight which is exactly what Lara did to Canelo .

Canelo cant say all Lara did was run from him when he was the ONLY fighter himself getting his head popped back all night .

Canelo clearly lost that fight .

Boxrec says Canelo Alvarez beat Erislandy Lara on 2014-07-12 at MGM Grand, Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA by split decision. Thats a fact!
If you think he lost, thats just an opinion.

Lara should have been more active. He gave that fight away

I agree Canelo lost but.....Lara should of stepped it up, leave no room for doubt. Lara is a great boxer but Floyd for instance has a way of dominating fights to where you couldn't rob him even if you wanted to. Lara won but he never gave the impression that he was winning....if that makes any sense.

Canelo should not have missed the majority of his offense . Even his bodywork was not landing clean and was ineffective .

He gave that fight away to Lara

    Yet 2 out of 3 judges didn't .

BTW How can you say Lara should have been more active when he was the fighter who landed more punches ???

So If you think Lara was inactive , Then Canelo no doubt had to be terribly inactive in your eyes .
