Honestly i have no problem with a guy doing that sporadically, like to offset his opponents rhythm or survive a barrage of punches. Guys like John Ruiz on the other hand **** me off.

 

So ruiz pisses you off but ward vs Kessler didn't?

 

That was the fight was an abomination. He shoulda been DQd

He should have been dq'd after 3 rounds

 

I'll be honest it did annoy me at certain times but Ruiz had no real offense, just hugging.

Ward on the other hand had established his offense, and before Kessler could get into rhythm he would clinch to mess him up. The headbutts did **** me off though.

 

He clinched on average every ten seconds mate it was a travesty and one of the worse referring displays ever

 

What a joke this situation is. One of the best boxer's around sitting on the shelf.

That's crazy. Ward can fight at all ranges I've seen him do it on numerous occasions. To act as if all he does is hold and butt is crazy. Did you not see his fight with Froch? He dominated him and didn't hold or butt.

 

If you're going with that logic then I guess Tyson, Ali, Witherspoon and many others are to blame for signing with King or terrible/corrupt promoters as well.

 

He did hold a lot in the froch fight lmfao

Look I'm a Froch fan, but Ward beat him fair and square and it was a good fight. People like you just hate to give credit where it's deserved. I want Froch to get a rematch with Ward and I think it should be in Wembley Stadium.

 

It was NOT a good fight. Just like every other Ward fight. :fire

 

He should have still got at least one point deduction for holding in that ight, but I suppose that's great by wards standards
