So now we're supposed to listen to Teddy Atlas?

 

Do people not accept there are close fights that could go either way?

I thought Canelo won but Lara could have had it as well.

 

We'll, he is being groomed to be the next cash cow to replace floyd so it happens. Unfortunately, boxing has become more of money making than sports. Fortunately, floyd might want to fight pac to become relevant again or to regain his status as the ppv king. It's all good.

 

You dont score close fight 117 111, thats where Teddy is right that was clearly payed judge to score it for Canelo no matter what happens in the ring.

They paid for that judge that gave it a draw. Here's my theory: they pay 1 judge, sometimes 2, to give the close rounds to their fighter. Canelo should not have gotten a draw against Floyd, he should not have been up 7-8 rounds in the Trout fight, and 117-111 vs Lara is horrible. I think the promotional companies, sometimes not always, pay off at least one judge. Just as an "insurance policy", so it doesn't guarantee they win, just makes it easier to win.

 

Canelo can't be the next Mayweather because he doesn't have the skill set required to continue winning high profile fights.

His two biggest victories are controversial. Most cash cows (Mayweather and Pac for example)defeat their opponents convincingly, Alvarez doesn't have the ability to do so.

 

Teddy. The same guy who claim planned to assassinate one of his fighters over a potential training fee he was never entitled too as he'd been sacked. Yeah I'll believe that guy.

Compubox gave Canelo way way more credit for landed body shots than he deserved.

Lara adapted and blocked most the body shots with his elbow / arm.

The same claim cannot be made for Lara's headshots, which were as clean as it get...replays showed this.

To be fair, your first post was essentially calling everyone else a dumbass who didn't see the fight the same way. Are you correct? Doubtful because you could be just as much of a dumbass as the ones you are calling dumbass. Know what I mean?
