Is Cotto fighting canelo though? Last I heard he's facing Andy Lee.

They can move up, anyone can. It doesn't mean they have to, no one does. Golovkin wants to be a great MW, Cotto wanted to be a great fighter. There's a difference between the two.

Like Hearns moved through the weights fighting the best, Hagler stayed at MW fighting the best. Different approaches but both have merit imo.

I have no problem with the premise I really don't but when you have tards arguing that GGG is going to be an ATG and Canelo is ducking who started at WW, or Cotto is ducking who started at JWW, even Mayweather who started at SFW. Yet in the same sentence will argue why GGG-Froch/Ward/Hopkins is completely different when the gap between MW-SMW is smaller than WW/JWW-MW.

Canelo and Cotto are proven warriors, they duck no one.

Golovkin is the best MW though and anyone claiming to be a champion in the MW division should be willing to fight him.

Either Cotto sees himself as a MW or he doesn't. If it's the former he should pursue a Golovkin fight, the latter he should vacate.

Talking about GGG moving up in weight and Ward moving weights is irrelevant when you have Cotto operating at the same weight as GGG, with a world title belt. The next fight should be a unification fight between GGG and Cotto.

Sorry but Cotto or his trainer haven't go the right to dictate terms to GGG at middleweight because he is deemed to be too big and strong. If you can't handle it then go down to LMW, simple. All this catch weight nonsense has ruined boxing!

Nah, they have the right to dictate terms because they bring in the cash. Even Loeffler said Golovkin would be happy to be "C-side" to Cotto to get the fight made.

    Yes, Cotto dictates the terms.

Doesn't make him less of b1tch ass pu$$y for wanting the fight at 155 vs full MW limit.

Another dumbass with a dumbass thread.

Ward is one division above Golovkin while Cotto is a champion in the same division as Golovkin, a guy that is scared to death of a guy in his own division is not the same as Golovking not fighting a guy that isnt even in his weight class. This isnt rocket science its just common sense.

That's the point, not sure what their argument is. As a boxing fan do I care if Cotto is the cash cow or do I want to see the supposed best fight each other? How can a newbie middleweight dictate terms when GGG is widely seen as the best MW on the planet? No wonder boxing is going to the dogs!

GGG is a Middleweight, Ward is a Super Middleweight. When will you ******s learn the difference?

Bro I'm not the biggest Cotto fan but there is no legitimate way you can call Cotto a ***** for going after the most money in his 4th division when you guys fear Ward/GGG moving up 1 division.

Is that why I was calling him a *****? I think it's a ***** move to make Golovkin come down to 155 to fight for the lineal MW championship, that's all.

And these people are gonna scream and get wet in their panties if GGG beats Cotto calling the victory the greatest of GGG's career. Pathetic on beating a smaller man who is in 4th weight class.
