Not sure anyone really knows the answer to that question. There have been plenty of rumours he is somewhat older than 33.
If Peter is completely gone Leapai will KO him. It's just after 3 years plus out of the ring who can be sure what Peter has left until the bell rings?
But is he 50% of what he once was after the hidings he copped from the Klitschkos and Helenius, and over 3 years out of the ring?
is this real? I am shocked...wow. Peter was supposed to be in that super 8 thing which he probably would of won. I mean look who won Meehan & LOL @ rahman loosing to a 2-4 guy. Leapai by KO, sam peter has no chin left, none. he once had a decent chin but that was long, long ago. Back in the ages of the almighty "Who NESH?!" WHO NESH?!" "I wan good necks!"
Shannon Briggs ducked Alex Leapai for the late October fight, claiming to have cut his foot in the fracas with Wladimir. But now Shannon is scheduled to fight a soft opponent, age 42 David Long (12-4-2, 8 KOs) on Aug 23.
Good fight... But Peter has been scheduled to return many times since the Helenius loss, and always ends up pulling out. I hope he doesn't pull out again.... This is a really good fight.
