Been watching some Brook tapes and am just getting more convinced that it will be a bad night for him...

he holds his left hand low...Porter could have a right hand freefest.

 

I voted for Porter by knockout, but I think this is a real close fight

lets look at a few things here concerning the fight...

Porter hasn't had his chin tested, so no one knows how he's going to react when hit by a natural welter. he could fold there and then for all you know. so to those saying he's got a great chin, you're deluded with nothing to back up your claims.

Kell has been hit by some good shots and taken them. his chin is more proven at this point.

only after stopping a shot Malignaggi did people consider Porter a puncher, not before. Kell has been consistent with his power. he's the bigger puncher.

the skill is all Kell's way. Porter is raw and devoid of any real skill.

people a putting their hopes on Porter to win because he's a pressure fighter, and that's what caused Kell some problems in the first Carson Jones fight. but, Carson walked forward with his hands up whilst being flat-footed. he didn't leap like Porter does. that's the big difference. a counter puncher will have his fun with a fighter that leaps, just look at Marquez and Manny. but when Marquez comes up against a flat-footed pressure fighter (Juan Diaz) he struggles badly. that leaping in makes the world of difference.

Porter struggles with counter punchers... look at the two Diaz fights. he's nothing but a shot former Lightweight. but Porter in two fights played it cautious. he didn't want to leap in and get caught with a counter. do you really believe that Porter is going to take a much bigger risk by leaping in against a much stronger, bigger punching Welter that has superior timing and reaction??? sure thing. if he does, he'll live to regret the stupidity of his choice.

Kell they say, is going to run out of steam based on, and only on, one fight. Carson Jones. but they've got their **** together since than and got serious. Kell has never come close to gassing before.

so, most of those going for Porter is basing it off the most dubious of situations which have no meaning nor fact. also, they're being hypocritical by not doing the same for Porter and his misgivings.

if you want to pick Porter, go ahead. but you're going to see the big difference in leaping in on the front foot to walking in flat-footed. it's something boxing fans have missed. Brook is going to win this fight.

for the first two rounds, Brook will win due to getting his punches off, while Shawn puts his guard up and plays cautious. but at some point, he''l open up with his wide shots and understand what it's like to be hit by a true welter. lets see if he recovers, or simply gets smoked.

kell will either knock him out in the 3rd or 4th round if he's to get the stoppage. but otherwise, i see Kell on points due to him putting Porter firmly in his place because he's not wanting to get knocked out by a counter.

Brook has to establish his jab and keep on his jab the entire fight. Has to pivot and jab when Porter rushes in. If Kell moves back in a straight line he's going to have problems. Porter is going to look to maul him and if Kell doesn't do a few very basic things, he doesn't stand as good of a chance at winning. Kell's jab is fantastic when he utilizes it correctly, but, he's going to have to do a few other things well as this will be his toughest test.

 

I don't know who will win that fight..........................will Porter be on the roids?

porter wins brook is just another british hype job.

 

The dwarf is very probably coming after the special boy instead.

I can't see Brook outclassing or stopping Porter, so I expect a UD for Shawn.

 

SP is a crude hypejob who's welterweight campaign so far has consisted of feasting on blown up lightweights and JWWs. No one was hyping him after going life and death with old man Diaz twice.

Porters very one dimensional and can't fight off the back foot, once he tastes Kells power and starts backing up it's going to be a very long night for him. Brook will hunt him down and knock him out in 8 rounds

 

I have seen porter fight with Diaz and Alexander everything tells me if Brooks can take Porter shots.
