FMJ is one of the greatest fighters who ever lived...i actually was gonna rank him above RJJ, because FMJ has been doing his thing for longer and at a higher weight class than he belongs. floyd is so good, it's almost unbelievable.

no other human could do what he has been doing.

only RJJ's ridiculous athleticsm and spectacular KO's give him the edge over FMJ...but it's close...next week floyd could be number one.

 

sorry dude...i don't get where you're coming from. you're looking at some of the most brilliant fighters who ever existed and calling it them the "worst"?

 

some people might object to sweet pea whitaker being on the list...but i actually believe whitaker in his prime was one of the purest boxers ever. on the same level as rigondeaux in terms of technical skill. he absolutely dominated some of the top fighters around including buddy mcgirt, azumah nelson, julio cesar chavez, greg haugen, etc. whitaker would give any of the all-time greats including FMJ a run for their money.

 

what's up with you people and your obsession with race? this is not a list of black fighters... it's a list of the BEST fighters...they all just HAPPEN to be black.

If I made a list of the top ten 100 meters track stars, they would also ALL be black, not because I'm racist, but because all the best runners, from Jesse Owens to carl lewis to Usain bolt have all been black men...why should I include non-black fighters just to spread the credit around?... aren't most of y'all against affirmative action? Why do y'all insist on affirmative action for non-blacks when it comes to boxing? don't blame me because your ethnicity hasn't produced top fighters...i'm just the messenger.
