I said Swedish. A Swede can be of any color or race, just born in Sweden. His father happened to be a tall, smart man from Sweden, why bring skin color into this?

    Talk sense, man.

Why no Joey Maxim when he beat Sugar Ray. He also beat two HW Champions in Bivins and Patterson. That puts him above Roy Jones who only beat one.

so, seriously...y'all must be some seriously maladjusted grown men or maybe you're just punka88 teenagers. which one is it?

...and tell me the emotions you experienced when you read my perfectly valid list ...did you cry inside because it was all black guys, did you shift around on your chair uncomfortably, how did it affect y'all emotionally, you can tell me.

I don't find anything racist about the list, most of the best fighters are black. However, the list is just an absolute joke. Roy jones and Floyd are nowhere near the top. You should have made a list of top fighters you've seen growing up. This makes you look incredibly ignorant, borderline ******ed.

dude, you know damn well you were talking about his race...just like you jumped on my original post as being racist when it was only talking about the best fighters in history. stop being a dishonest hypocrite.

and you know as much as anybody else that maxim was garbage and sugar ray was beating the hell out of him before SRR collapsed form heat exhaustion due to the weather.

I did not! Point out such a post. I just gave my list and asked if we should compare notes and find out how we ended up so different. In truth YOU are the one calling me racist for only listing the greatest fighters in history.

Not true. Maxim was a P4P monster. He beat Sheppard, Bivins, Satterfield, Patterson, Mills, Gus..etc. More Hall of Fame wins than your Roy Jones Jr. You are saying your 4th greatest fighter of all time, lost to garbage? Your list makes no sense.

He beat Sugar Ray fair and square TKO13. He was in the same heat and had to be aggressive and pressure, which is more exhausting if you ever fought. That fight nearly killed Maxim, he was never the same.

you started off making two good points...then you jumped on the bandwagon and undermined yourself.

if you don't think RJJ and floyd are at the top you just don't know boxing...I would advise you to do what i did which is watch all the old fighters, the archie moores, michael spinks, bob fosters, lloyd marshalls etc...i watch their fights on youtube at home while I'm working out on the elliptical.

floyd and roy have advanced the sport just like every new generation does...except roy was ahead of his time...floyd has simply fought EVERYBODY from SFW to JMW and a lot of the time his opponents are much bigger, much younger ..but floyd dominates them all. he's ranked exactly where he should be.

I never called anybody on your list garbage!

Joey Maxim was the lineal Light Heavyweight Champion with wins over the following Hall of Famers: Joe Walcott, Floyd Patterson, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Jimmy Bivins. And lineal Champions Gus Lesnevich and Freddie Mills. ALL WHILE THEY WERE PRIME!

He is not garbage, you are just stupid!

The master list marches on! Proud!
