Pulev has zero chance

Generally, Klitschko has faced each of his best possible challenges when timing and boxing politics permit.

Byrd, Chagaev, Haye, and Povetkin were all the best and most qualified available opponents at the time he fought them.

In between and around those fights, Peter, Brock, Ibragimov, Thompson, and Chambers were all considered legitimate top ten heavyweights and basically "worthy" challengers.

Sure, there have been some Marvis Fraziers in there too, but overall, there aren’t any names out there that either Wlad or his brother didn’t already see off.

Pulev is probably the next most "deserving" challenger out there. So, some credit is due if he fights and beats Pulev.

 

Pulev is a natural-born fighter. He's tough and durable, and very strong. Wlad won't be able to wrestle him successfully, because he's of comparable strength.

Kubrat does arm-punch in the early rounds, he always starts slow. But he gets better as a fight progresses and has energy in the late rounds.

He has a better chance of beating Klitschko than anybody else.

 

dunno about equal man.. i think wlad is stll alot stronger than pulev..and could still throw him around

 

Best fighter Wlad has ever faced. Povetkin a close second.

 

The fact that you don't like Pulev doesn't make him without a chance against Klit. It's just your opinion and nothing else.

 

I wouldn't say Pulev lacked athleticism. He's not flat footed, as people make out. Got a very good jab, but I think his lack of power is his biggest weakness. Wlad's only going to lose if he gets taken out. Pity there aren't many fighters with the power, size and skill to do that.

 

So do I. Wladimir is still going to dominate in the clinches. He is the stronger man. Pulev also lacks the power to trouble Wlad in any way.
