I didn't say that what I am saying however is people talk about Lara landing all these hard punches he landed a lot of jabs, most of Lara's work came in the first 6 rds after that all Lara did was jab an run.
hes a little of both. He likes to claim hes Irish, but hes extremely biased towards Cuban fighters only. Claims Lara would beat Mayweather, claims Rigo is the P4P #1, claims Lara gave Molina a boxing lesson when he was actually very lucky to get a draw...it goes on and on. Isnt that right, Green Lad? Oops, I mean "Technique".
Lara wasn't impressive, he did disappoint. but Canelo was even worse. Lara was stiffed. but then we all knew that going in. Lara just made it easier for the corrupt judges.
I had it 7-5 for Lara but many rounds were close. I can see 7-5 canelo, draw or 7-5 lara. close fight
I'm not the one who's made a thread crying about the decision trying to convince people Lara won, I'm just here to laugh at all your replies to people, no need to cry man :rofl
If you say Lara didn't do anything but run , then even debating with you is going to be a waste of time so why bother .
34 media score cards had it for Canelo, 30 Lara and 25 had it a draw. Seems like a close fight that could have went either way.
Former two division world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero is one of many people who believe that Lara did enough to deserve a win over Canelo last Saturday night. ROBERT GUERRERO -“I watched @Laraboxing fight in Mexico yesterday and mostly everyone including me thought he beat Canelo. #Boxing #Rematch,” Guerrero said on his twitter. There’s a quite a few people who feel that Lara deserved at least a draw out of the fight, if not a victory, because Canelo didn’t do enough to show that he was a clear cut winner. Mancini, like many other boxing experts, feels that Lara out-boxed Canelo for 12 rounds, but ultimately lost the fight to the house fighter, the guy that brings in more money for the sport of boxing. RAY MANCINI -“Canelo’s an ordinary fighter, there’s nothing special about him,” Mancini said to Boxing Channel. “Lara won the fight as far as I’m concerned. Lara gave him a boxing lesson. There’s a thing called ring generalship. But he [Lara] don’t sell two tickets. Canelo’s the house fighter, he got that. It’s better for business. It’s called show business. But Lara won the show. His [Canelo] trainers, nice guys, don’t know anything. In the Mayweather fight, they told him nothing. They were exposed, he was exposed. In the Lara fight, they didn’t tell him anything different. Every time Lara threw a punch down the middle, he caught him. He [Canelo] ain’t learning nothing. He’s a power guy. Put a guy in front of him, he’ll knock down a building. The guys that move give him problems.” Mancini basically thinks Canelo was given a decision over Lara that he didn’t deserve and that he was exposed once again and shown to be a limited fighter. Floyd Mayweather Sr - "Canelo looked worse against Lara than he did against Floyd"
