Seriously, how are we going to know? Showtime executive Stephen Espinoza says they are not going to release PPV numbers anymore.

I don't see any way this does more than 900,000 or 1,000,000 maximum. Nearly all the PPV's this year have underperformed. I don't think many are giving Maidana a shot. By the time the first fight was over, it was clear Mayweather was in charge.

I'd be willing to bet nearly anything this fight card will NEVER do 1.5 million buys, especially without another big name like Broner or Khan on the undercard.

This time it will....last time all the knuckle heads claiming it was going to do 1.5 and 2 million had their lips locked on Floyd's shaft. But due to how close the last fight was and how exciting both men were the rematch has all the self promotion it needs to do 1.5 or more int he PPV dept.

Really? Maidana had Mayweather in trouble? I must have missed those rounds because I never saw Mayweather in any type of trouble, except for maybe being in danger of getting his ball sack punched off.

Not only this but they never had a multi city press tour last time around, not sure if it even went 1 city like the Guerrero fight.

They did a 5 city press tour for this one, this one will blow up much more than the last

They did a 10 city press tour for the Canelo fight.

    It did 2.2

Its not a good place to pay people to post. Been here a few years and ******s grow at an alarming rate every year. The floyd vs Pac ripple effect will take more time than I taught for **** to go back to normal.

I really wish that fight had happened already. The posts would have been less ridiculous and the trolling down to a minimum.

Nobody takes you seriously stop clogging up the forum with ****** threads about your crush Mayweather, you said last time it would do those numbers and it did just over half that, this won't do 1.5m if it does 1m i'd be surprised the undercard is a disgrace last time he had Khan and Broner to perk up the numbers for those on the fence about buying. **** off and get a life.

A press tour means Mayweather himself knows how **** the numbers might be, 850k i thought you said it did 1m, i see you've had to change your tune on that as well when you were proven wrong. Your an idiot who knows nothing about boxing.

Undercard isn't as good as the other ones but LSC will surely bring the numbers up.

Action packed undercard and I do believe Mayweather/Maidana will be a war.

1.5 million will be reached here.

Lots of factors tell us that it will. :deal

Op can't see straight with Floyd's balls in his eyes.

Logic says this PPV will do poor numbers. Too many PPV this year and this is a weaker card than last time. There was a "What if" factor last time...but Maidana couldn't hurt him. They didn't do a good job of selling the "Maidana was robbed" angle to build it up. Instead they used WWE antics which make it look staged.

Have you seen the undercard? It's atrocious. The rematch isn't even wanted or warranted. There is no way this outsells the first match with virtual no names on the undercard, and rematch nobody wants to see.

Wow you are pathetic. It did say fact and it only notes an edit time if someone quoted you.
