What happened to Mago was a tragedy & should never have happened.
Who is to blame??? Everyone involved must bear some responsibility

The promoters ?.... They have take responsibility after all they made the fight.
The NY Commission?... They are responsible for the fighters welfare , they hire the doctors & are responsible for the well being of a fighter.
How could the doctors not see Mago was seriously hurt he was obviously in dire distress. Add the fact that there was no ambulance to take him to hospital The fact he had to hire a cab to get himself there is unexcusable.
    Something needs to be done
Mago's corner.... I'm sorry I cannot buy Jackson's story about them not translating to him so he didn't know Margo hand was broken or that his face was severely damaged
All involved are guilty to some degree sadly nothing can reverse what happened & the tragic injuries to Mago & his family.
They have got to make sure this sort of thing never happens again

There's no shame in quitting on your stool. Which he should of done himself.

Golota was almost attacked by Lou Duva for walking away. If he went back in against Tyson he could of done himself serious harm as it was discovered afterwards that his skull was cracked.

No Serge I believe they are ALL to blame to some degree No one is innocent
The fact that poor Mago had to hail a cab to take him to hospital DISGUSTS me NYSAC failed to provide adequate emergeancy medical coverage in the arena. How is it Commissions seem to be above the law at times??:patsch

He sustained a concussion, a fractured left cheekbone and a herniated disc between the fourth and fifth cervical vertebrae.
He was right to pull himself out. Your health come first. It could of been a lot worse if he allowed Duva bully him.

You can see here , there is something seriously not right with him.

You see thats the problem with some of you fans and the reason why athletes risk their lives and careers until is too late. Lets say Abdusalemov had retired in the second round I suspect you will be calling him quitter too. This guys a human being and their bodies are not made with iron.:patsch

What's wrong with Golota is that he **** his pants. Nothing else wrong with him.

Just like Wlad **** his pants against Brewster. Nothing else was wrong with him, despite all the rumors and hospital examinations. He just **** his pants like never before, probably feared for his life. Golota thought he was going to die in the ring with Tyson.

He had subarachnoid bleeding that can lead to a cerebral hemorrhage and a bulging disc in his cervical spine along with fractured cheek bones. He got out at the right time.
    Health comes first

Boxing is a sport , not a medium to see men get their heads bashed in.
