Khan. He won the silver medal at 17, only lost out on gold because he was up against one of the great amateurs ever. Khan was even faster then he is now, he was an amazing amateur i honestly belive if he stayed amateur he'd be one of the greatest ever, he just had and still has the perfect style for it. Khan would have outpointed Mayweather in an amateur bout, pro game it's no doubt Mayweather takes it but amateur is a total different game and Khan was a better fighter than Floyd as an amateur.

 

Amir Khan won the silver at 17 lost to one of the greatest ever in the final. Floyd won the bronze at 19 what's so hard to believe the pro game isn't the amateur game, Khan was a better amateur than Mayweather.

I wouldn't put Kindalan as the greatest amateur ever, for me Lomochenko and Rigondeaux are the two recent guys above him, you couldn't possibly have him outside the top 10, for me Kindalan is top 5 in the amateurs ever.

 

Kindelan is at least as good an amatuer as rigo he won more than him, if rigo didn't go pro I don't think people would rate him as highly as an amateur

 

i get what your saying but like you said Rigo turned over so didn't stick around the amateur game forever, i mean honestly Kindalan won 2 olympic golds the same as Lomochenko and Rigondeaux, he won 3 World championship golds, Rigo 2 and Lomochenko 2 plus a silver. You'd have to admit if both Rigondeaux and Lomochenko stayed amateur they'd win a 3rd olympic gold each, Lomochenko probably would win 4 seen as he's only 26 now. I'd just put them ahead of Kindalan Lomochenko's record of 396-1 given the level he fought at is the greatest amateur record ever. Lomochenko is the best amateur ever.
