I would have loved to seen Rubio beat the **** out of Cotto, but I'm one of the few Rubio fans on the forum

People who said Rubio-Cotto was not a good DKSAB. Same thing with Rubio GGG. Rubio is tough. It will be a good fight which I will be watching with interest.

Uhmm.. nobody raged about Rubio-Cotto. The consensus among serious fans was almost unanimous that Cotto taking his WBC mandatory fight was perfectly respectable.

This post is about as dumb as you can get short of MVC/Chicano land.

Rubio is Cotto's mandatory ,but Cotto refused to fight his mandatory, so Golovkin might fight Rubio to become Cotto's mandatory and force that fight to happen. Cotto wanted Golovkin to fight him for the 160 lb. title at 154 instead, so Golovkin said he would, then Cotto ran away....................Cotto is a fraud, esp. at 160. Golovkin would knock him out and so would Rubio..............

Champions can't become mandatory for other champions. GGG isn't fighting Rubio to become Cotto's mandatory.

I don't think Cotto had any intention of fighting Rubio and therein lay the outrage.
