Wilder couldn't deal early with a fat, out of shape bum with no boxing skills. He had to retire in his corner to get stopped.

My book doesn't even have a prop on first round knockout for this fight. Just has Wilder as 1:100 favorite.

If that's true that he is only making 50K, you'd have to bet 1/5 of his purse to make $100 on him winning the fight. that's ****ing nuts!

    :rofl

Wilder is making $50K. After taxes. $35K. After paying his trainers. $30K. How much is he paying this guy to take the dive? He's probably paying the judges off too, all THREE of THEM and the REF. Does he have any money left?

No, he will be in debt but hopefully he can payoff his next opponent in aluminum cans or foodstamps that way his next 50k purse will stretch a little further

That's not how it works my friend. The fighter is not the one who pays someone to take a dive. Someone that has money on the outcome pays. Completely independent of the fighter's purse.

A gambler would make a 1M bet spread over serveral bookies and pay the fighter 100k to tank it in the first.
