Marquez beats Shawn Porter at 147 because...

    No offense to anyone, but If Marquez and Porter fight without drug testing I'm going with Marquez

    I rewatched the Porter/Diaz fight and saw how Diaz timed Porter perfectly. He also was able to hit Porter when he dips down low to avoid punches. With good accuracy,and timing Diaz had success in spots.

    Diaz doesn't even have the footwork Marquez has

    Marquez is the king of timing, and the king of allowing aggressive fighters fall into punches. Yes porter is bigger, but he has short hands so sometimes he reaches in to land his punches.

    If there's no drug testing I would be glad to put $500 dollars on Marquez by UD I'm sure the odds will be at least 2 to 1 in favor of Porter

    As much as I respect Marquez currently he more than likely loses to every top WW not named Pacquiao, everyone isn't Hopkins and Marquez has been drop by Alvarado and light hitting Bradley at 40+yrs Porter muals him into submission.

    I got Porter on points .

    Marquez didn't want nothing to with the limited Provodnikov probably with good reason , so I doubt he feel he will do any better against the more versatile Shawn Porter .

    Hes on his way out .

    I'm known as a juantard and I favor porter with or with out roids. I tthink jmm defeated Alvarado easy, but porter is stronger , faster and too much. I give jmm huge respect for facing a young champion. I think jmm won't hang them up until he looses and this might be it.

    True, but that's because Provod cuts off the ring way better than Porter. Also Provod was a High risk low reward fight.

    I agree, and I think he see's something. It's not as if Porter has Bradley's footwork.

    Him picking Bradley was a horrible pick .

    He looked lost in that fight with TB movement , the speed difference was so overwhelming .

    8-4 / 9-3 Timothy Bradley .

    To think , I was so damn near close betting 400$ on Marquez .

    The huge difference in skill and experience coupled with great will to win will overcome the advantages of youth.

    Usually I'd go with youth but this is JMM we're talkin' about.

    Its a given to see a bunch of unknowleadgeable fans pick against Marquez just about every fight.
    You all picked against Marquez in the Alvarado fight, sighting Alvarado's height, reach, and boxing. :lol:


    Listen newb's, to beat a aged fighter, you run from him, just like Bradley did, and even then Marquez finds the way to land the better more effective punches. :deal

    marquez is impervious to being outbrawled, he will use porter's aggressiveness as a weapon. sure guys like bradley and mayweather clearly outboxed him, but both of those guys are the antithesis of shawn porter.
