2 entirely different men, it's not even close. Cotto deserves 0 credit for beating up a crippled martinez.

But, how many of us really knew, Martinez was on of my favorites, and I thought sure he was gonna be in better condition that Murray. And so did many people Cotto had no Idea this Martinez would show up. Also, Cotto, no matter how bad Martinez was, looked phenomenal, very sharp. Give him his credit and let's hope he defends it against Gennady next year.

Not surprised the Floridians agree LOL…..same state that produce the likes of Casey Anthony and Zimmerman….

Seriously though I respect your opinions its our God given right.

If you have an objective bone in your body and consider yourself a true fan of the sport take a look at the youtube video called the cerebrality of miguel Cotto, its in-depth and should give you a proper perspective of what went down during the fight with Martinez. Come on prove me wrong about Florida!

I actually like Florida man its extremely relaxing I've just met some truly ignorant folks that are native to the state. I hate stereotyping man I'm pretty sure once I make the move down there I'll be more accepting. My house is worth about 500k and looking at the market down in Florida is sorta a no brainer for me to move the family down there….good schools low crime and a huge gorgeous house with 3 baths 5 bedrooms new construction

Not sure what your ethnicity is however it seems childish to take stabs at "Ricans" I'm 75% Rican proud, successful and a productive member of society :yep

Martinez probably still has something left granted that Cotto did not beat him up too badly.(Probably did)

What effected Martinez most was his inactivity and absence from the gym. Before the Murray and Cotto camps most of the time was spent on just rehabilitation and not boxing.
Now Martinez is 39, just took a beating and in the last 2 years has only spent probably 6 months or so in the gym working on his boxing.

Forza and I are from South Florida, don't know each other, but the middle of the state the people are, shall we say a little less tolerant. We are very diverse down here that's why we have such close elections.

Yeah some of the places I was checking out last week where in Ft. Luar, Orlando and Palm Beach…..some of the school systems are rated near perfect and no crime to boot. My wife is a white Argentinian and I'm a brown skinned Rican/Cuban so in NY people don't look twice however I found several stares while house shopping in palm beach. I could care less, I consult in the Health industry so the wife wouldn't even work down in FL.
