The only fight I've gotten wrong lately was Golovkin Geale, and I was admittedly making a huge sado masochistic gamble.
Like I said. Brook had a good chance. Don't get too impressed though. You just underestimated Brook's chin and overrated Porter's abilities.

The Brook fight was that of a classic boxer beating a classic brawler, same as with Bika and Dirrell. Porter and Bika simply got beat by boxer's who had a better handle on their boxing than they had on their brawling. Neither boxer displayed world class skills and unless they fight a lesser boxer in their next fight, they will be one hit wonders.
Brook normally does not hold that much. Porter fights sloppy and hits behind the head A LOT. Brook was holding a lot in the first half but around the 9th round Porter was holding as much as Brook. Brook showed he can adapt. The fight was Ugly but I think it was Porters fault more than Brook How do you fight porter on the inside he uses his forearms and hit behind the head so much you have to hold. Watch Porter verses Paulie M Porter pushed against the ropes pushed his head back with one forearm and pounded him with other hand. Very dirty fighter I'm glad he lost. Brook vs Thurman would be much better fight.
well at least you're giving the man his rightful credit. and yeah, most thought Porter would be the one with a lot left in the later rounds. no, he was gassed. Kell on the other hand looked as though his gas tank was still full. he did the right thing in sorting out his training and weight making. it pays to be professional. the first Jones fight was just a blip.
