Porter was crass and hardly landed. It was he who was instigating the holding and not Brook. Brook dominated the latter rounds and was catching him all night. Not a technically great fight by any means, but one fighter was banking the rounds and the other was just dancing about trying to look busy. Porter won four rounds at best.
Shame this isn't a public poll. I want to see who these jokers are that had it 117-111 or wider to Porter. :blood
I thought Porter's work on the inside ceased to be effective round the half way mark, after that uppercut they threw the gameplan out of the window and those eye catching right hands were enough to win Brook the rounds. I didn't score it but I feel the two cards were a bit too wide. The right man got it though.
Didn`t see this fight but I thought following Kell Brook and Shawn Porters career so far that Brook could win it.The journalist writing on here was so blatantly biased in Porters favour disparaging Brooks performance and saying Porter was robbed.
If that was Mayweather in there it would have been classed as a Mayweather masterclass against a hungry young lion.
Brook. Porter is a disgrace to championship boxing. Ive seen better skills in a street fight. Somebody must of told him jabbing is only something the other guy does.
I thought Brook won it by 117-111. The first 5 Rds were close i had it 3-2 to brook but when brook hurt porter in the 6th rd Porter started to slow down.
116-112 Brook, Porter would be better suited to WWE with all that wrestling. Also hard to score all those punches round the back of the head and the headbutts from Porter...
