Although I had porter winning by a couple in what I would say was a boring scrappy horrible fight to watch I'm glad the decision went to brook. To put it simply porters fights are always crappy scrappy fights in which there is vey little skill but mainly charging in like a bull and bum rushing his opponents to try and put them off their game as he did against Alexander. I'm glad he is out of the picture now he should go learn some skill before being in another title shot this is boxing not sumo wrestling. Now with brook as the champion we will be treated to some good fights weather he defends his title I'm not sure but will be good fights.

can i ask how you had porter winning ? i know some people favour offense alot more then others but it has to be EFFECTIVE to be able to score ? and i barely seen any effective aggression from porter, while brook was catching him coming in and landing MUCH crisper and cleaner shots on porter

    Porter looked dreadful.

He makes Ricky Hatton look like Willie Pep.

Jim Watt the British commentator had it a Porter 115-114, some people like porters work rate and include that in the scoring.

Listening to him, I was thinking shut up you twat, this is the USA, everyone loves Mayweather. Where slickness ( not work rate) looks good and any punch even the tiniest of legal landed punches are scoring punches. Porter was mostly landing round on the back, back of the head and with his own head. Could also argue the ref was letting Porter get away with constant head clashes or butting. Brook Clearly was landing most of the legal punches.
