Eddie said hes looking at dates in November and December for a fight in Sheffield. Who will he fight? Bundu? Paulie?
Khan won't happen next. It'll most likely be a temporary step down from Porters level then 2 big fights next year including Khan.
But don't you think Bundu deserves it more after his last 2 wins? Nothing wrong with Frankie but to me he's got to earn a shot by beating better men than he has been . Maybe Bundu if he doesn't get Brook.
An easy defence in February next year, probably easier than Bundu, then Khan at Bramall Lane in August. But only because they've always thought Kell could beat Khan. I don't think it will be anybody too dangerous until he's ordered to defend his mandatory. All in or not too far from Sheffield. Please God not Paulie.
I think Paulie is a distinct possibility next. He's willing to travel, not very dangerous but still a name to have on your record. Not a fight many of us would want to see, but in terms of increasing Brooks' popularity to casuals at home, probably the right choice.
IMO Khan and Brook would be at Old Trafford or even Wembley. Somehow I think Mayweather will fight Khan next May if both of them come through their next fights meaning Brook-Khan will have to wait. I agree with you on Brook though he will continue to fight in Sheffield or Manchester and make some nice money until he gets his mega payday with Khan.
If he is going to take an easy fight this year that isn't Bundu, he may as well get his mandatory Chris Ion out of the way. Of opponents outside of Khan (I think Khan needs a good win to make it a mega fight) I'd really like to see him fight Bradley in England.
It's certain to be a Sheffield home coming against a slightly lower levek fighter IMO Eddie will want American TV involved I would have thought so I doubt Bundu will fit there criteria but I maybe wrong. I can see it being Paulie due to his name value or maybe a Zab Judah type
He should get his mandatory out of the way. It will free his schedule up and enable him to target the top fighters in the division.
