someone should of told him he was doing to much headbutting and rabbit punching.

 

Porter shouldn't have been jumping on his chest every second then...

 

His dad needs to come down his high horse.

Shawn got whooped fair and square for the world to see.

 

They were both fouling quite a bit, the ref didn't do a terribly good job IMO.

 

brook did hold excessively from the get go

 

As did porter :blood

 

not really brook initiated clinches from the get go when porter tried to fight inside

 

Yeah, this is spot on. Both men can complain about the other but neither was an angel in that **** fest.

 

I'm surprised at all the whining ,maybe they should have had a better game plan

 

I think the holding was due to Porter just coming in so wrecklessly. I mean Porter really disappointed me in this fight, what on earth was he doing in there just swinging like a wild man. Not even Maidana did that garbage versus Mayweather.

Kenny has a point but too bad Shawn didn't have a Plan B. Even if the ref deducted a point from Brook it wouldn't have swung the fight in Porter's favor, after all he lost by 4-5 points on two scorecards.

 

If you were going to deduct points from Brook for holding points have to be taken away from Porter for the rabbit punches which weren't even accidental and he would hit him with 3 or 4 in a row. Porter was also head butting the whole fight even when both fighters arm were tied up and Brook would move his head away Porters head follows his head. As for clinching Porter did his fair amount so he could lock one arm and rabbit punch.
