Honestly without taking sides to the argument as he surely must be clean in terms of his gloves. But watching this guy it's like he definetely has something in his wraps. As soon as he starts hitting someone they're pretty much fu-cked. Cuts people up after a round or two, has them holding their heads and all sorts sometimes with shots that dont look all that powerful. I ve heard of heavy hands but this is something else. The thing that gets me is some of the punches dont look that much. Obviously theirs a wierd noise they make as the land but if you take that out of the equation a lot of the punches dont look all that much but seem to fu-ck everybody up. Reminds me a bit like tyszu from a few years back but heavier handed and tyszu didn't exactly have pillows for fists.

His jab certainly causes early cuts like a knife through butter. It's just his technique - he steps forward with the jab with great footwork plus he utilises his torque and straigthens his chest very quickly to give a shot an additional impulse.

Also look at his forearms, they are the same size as his byceps, i.e. power at the end of his punches:

Good post Adil. Never noticed his forarms before probably is the reason he can whip them in like he does that and the technique. Looks like he's throwing arm punches and everybody looks amazed at the power when they land. Anyone got any info on his training...much the same as everybody else's??

make no mistake about it...golovkins punching power is legit...and even with other style gloves...he's still got hammers. he really gets great torque on his punches and always turns them over.
