Personally I'd go Bundu end of the year in Sheffield. Ideally khan would also fight around that time to help build that fight. Then khan next summer in a huge domestic fight. If he came through that maybe Keith Thurman in autumn. I think they are 3 big pay days and 3 winnable fights that will also help him build his name in the states and also help him develop as a fighter.
Everyone on here is advising against Brook fighting Khan this winter, but Khan will almost certainly fight Mayweather in May. If Brook doesn't fight Khan now, who knows if it'll happen.
Yes I think that sums it up perfectly really, Bundu on the christmas show possibly another fight around Marchl if they can fit it in and then the summer blockbuster against Khan. Good luck to him he deserves it, he has paid his dues and went into the other guys back yard and won the title, can't ask for much more than that to be honest. If this time next year he has beaten Bundu and Khan, he probably would only be the Thurman fight away from facing Mayweather, who would have thought it when he went life and death with Jones in there first fight
Agree for sure with Bundu in November/December in Sheffield, then Khan at Wembley in May if he doesn't take the Mayweather fight at that point then I guess Brook would have his mandatory or unification next. This all assuming that he keeps winning.
Have him fight his mandatory next leaving him free for a big voluntary fight against Khan next May. If he can't get Khan next May, I'd like to see him against Pacquiao whose punch resistance has waned and who I think is there for the taking.
he needs to fight amir khan asap if he wants $$$$ he cant risk this fight flopping by taking another risky fight... its a multi million pound fight, he will have a nice life after.
He should pay off Dan Ion and get Bundu in as his mandatory, get it out of the way in November/ December, will sell out a 20000 arena but also a big show can be made of it on Sky UK time. Get the casuals interested leading up to a Khan fight. Dan Ion could then fight Frankie Gavin in the UK for a good payday and no matter who wins a little bit of interest will be generated for it as a mandatory, not to me mind, but it's making the best out of a bad mandatory. Personally, I'm not interested in a Khan fight until he puts in a good performance against Guerrero, Alexander or Bradley, and I think that is necessary if they want to emmulate Froch Groves and sell out Wembley. Of above mentioned fighters I would like to see Brook vs Bradley the most in terms of competitive match ups, although I think he could make Guerrero look bad also.
Fight Khan straight away in the Cardiff millennium stadium. Maybe January. Both guys will make an absolute packet of money. Simples!
For me Bundu is an easy enough fight to take so the Khan fight can build in the back ground. Hopefully Khan will fight in the UK around december too so that will really get it going but i doubt it happens. Bundu is a big name here now he beat Gavin and Brooks stock went through the roof with this win. That fight would be good money and imo an easy win. Im not sure what his mandatory position is but hopefully that wont affect plans.
Agree with Bundu later on in the year then Khan in 2015, but does Khan v Brook put 80,000 arses on seats?? I know its a massive UK fight and has been on the back burner for a few years now, but let's remember the controversy, the action in the first fight & the needle between Froch & Groves is why so many turned up for the rematch.
Fight an easy 1st defence where he can look spectacular and get a KO then fight Khan. If he beats Khan then fight a decent but not too difficult opponent (Guerrero type) then go for a big fight (Pacquiao, Mayweather)
I would have to disagree it would be an easy win. I think Bundu has got alot more in his locker then Porter.
