I can't believe that Porter was the World Champion. No clean punches, No accuracy, no power, no......nothing.

Besides, he's throwing punches like he was swimming in a swimming pool. What an ugly fight!

Matthysse outboxed Devon as well, its not that hard if you have a good chin, Porter is an overrated unskilled caveman who was outboxed by Diaz

He thought he could blow Brook out of there early. He became a champ because it worked againsed a few opponents.

I saw some stupid threads below saying that the fight was a robbery.

    WTF? Porter deserved to lose.

these 140-147 of gbp/haymon (porter, querrero, ortiz, berto, khan, thurman, malinaggi, peterson, garcia....) overrated.

    algieri beats them all.

Porter landed noting meaningful throughout the whole fight. His daddy gave him the wrong advice, should have told him to mix it up with some jabs early on b but simply advised him to focus on the body and rough brook up for the first 6 rounds.

Thankfully the hype train is now over for that fat son of a *****

This always happens to the fighter who is soley based on power!

Yet everyone on ESB falls for it everytime, as soon as they fight a boxer they get exposed every time. Porter was the latest victim, just like matthysse (remember his hype train!?)

Everyone was raving on about PEDS and how he was the new mike tyson.

Golovkin, Kovalev, Wilder (lol) etc... there will come a day when they fight a tricky, awkward fighter too who they can't knock out.

I don't expect newbies to give Brook credit for making Porter uncomfortable, wild and sometimes desperate. It was Brook's movement and positioning that troubled the clearly smaller and shorter Porter. Brook's jabs also played a major role in killing off 60% of Porter's attacks.

Porter can't be lumped in with guys like matthyse or ggg or other sluggers like provodnikov...porter is wild and unbalanced and just not good. He's a level or 2 below. His style is the result of having no style. Or skill.

I was disappointed with his preformance too, Porter was very wild and wasted alot of energy and shots, Kell did what he had too but poor showing from the Champion, Porter had no plan b or showed any adjustment.

I was there live...Porter looked lost!

He said he was coming in with 3-4 different fight strategies.
He deployed neither...meaninglessly flailing away while in clinch.

When he realized that Brook was prepared for his lead left hook he was done!

Crowd kept calling for Ref to not allow Brook to clinch ...to force him to fight

However, Brook was fighting efficaciously picking Porter apart.

Porter is an overhyped Gatekeeper now!!!
