Lennox Lewis was born in London, England on September 2, 1965, and moved to Canada as a child. My bad... But the bottomline is he learned how to box in North America. What he has can't be taught where he's from. If that's not true, name another Brit that's been HW champ since? Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! UUUUUUHHHHHHH ! None !

A child lol he was raised in London til he was 15, and learnt to fight on the streets... his mum sent him to Canada to protect him from those same streets that made him the hard as nails GOAT HW warrior he became. When was the last world HW champ out of LA let alone Compton?

Ken Norton ( originally from San Diego) lived on the border of Carson & Compton California when he beat Ali for the HW Championship. Ken raised his son Ken Norton Jr there who went to Compton / Dominguez High School.

    This is from Wikipedia numnuts:

    Early life[edit]
Lewis was born on 2 September 1965, in West Ham, London, England to Jamaican-born parents.[5] At birth he weighed 10 pounds 10 ounces (4.8 kg), and was given the name Lennox by the doctor, who said he looked like a Lennox.[6] Lewis moved to Kitchener, Ontario, Canada in 1977 at the age of 12. He attended Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute for high school, where he excelled in Canadian football, soccer and basketball.[7]

Lennox learned to box in Canada when he arrived there at 12 years old. He represented Canada not Britain in the Olympics. Lennox posesses the sweet science because he was in the right environment being in Canada and close to the U.S. where he could learn his craft. So deal with !!!!!!

Yeah lets not forget the great Frank Bruno or howa bout Herbie Hide. He was a British Champ. Right ! You guys are true keyboard warriors. I'd love you to come hangout in Compton and see real athletes. It's something that you'll never get the opportunity to see let alone compete against. I guess Manchester United has more influence than I thought. do British Hw's get orange slices too?
