Would Floyd Mayweather be brave enough to move up and fight a middleweight champion?

Floyd's reach is the same of Andre CoWard. He has never fought once in his career in reach disadvantage, and never will.

    Hell, he's scared of midgets.

Doubt he has the balls to challenge Golovkin.

Floyd v Cotto isn't too unrealistic however

Cotto and diaz were a great team. He had cotto in the best shape be ever was in.
When cotto fought pac is when the lack of a trainer really hurt him. He didn't even have a real trainer, He had one of his buddies trying to play trainer.

That's why I don't give pac much credit for beating that cotto. He was lost all camp and even more lost in the Ring. .. it had zero to do with the 145 catch weight, All to do with no trainer.

Diaz made cotto the best be could and would be, He dumped him after he lost. Way too many fighters blame trainers for them losing. Ridiculous

Floyd would never be brave enough to run from a 38 year old retiree. (Wlad runs from an old nobody after getting killed instantly by him).

Or run from a guy three divisions lower than him (Vitali run from little byrd)

If he moved up and challenged the lineal champion Cotto people will be crying "He's cherry picking!!!, he must fight Golovkin who's biggest win is Curtis Stevenson!".

To be The Best Ever, he would need to suppass the achievements of Duran, Greb, Armstrong, Robinson, etc.

Roberto Duran started at bantamweight and won the linear title at middleweight, WITHOUT needing a catch weight when he fought Barkley.

Duran never held the lineal middleweight title. You people need to let go of that fallacious argument.

So there's no reason Floyd can't fight GGG at 160 WITHOUT a catch weight.

Even though Duran started at bantamweight and Floyd at junior lightweight, it would narrow the gap between them on the all-time list.

People just act like Floyd has to fight at 160 because they desperately want to see him loose. I don't even think Floyd has ever came in at 154 much less campaign at 160.

He doesn't have too, and I don't care if he does or not but ray Robinson was fighting the best middleweights in the world and went all the way to light heavyweight

Armstrong was welterweight champion of the world when he was a featherweight

The best are supposed to continuely push themselves and push the limits of what is supposed to be achievable eg Hopkins

Not just take easy convenient fights for the most money
