Robinson's style was NOTHING at all like that of Ali, and Monzon, and Armstrong and Frazier were nothing alike.

Armstrong and Frazier are a lot alike. I agree.

Robinson had a few similarities to Ali but not enough to draw a comparison and he fought absolutely NOTHING like Monzon. Not even close.

they were both really rangy, had okay defense, and they threw the same way, watch monzon vs napoles he looked like a replica of robby, then watch monzon vs griffith.

I think Duran and Chavez had a lot in common, with a few different details though.

Before this goes any further, can you at least stop calling Robinson "Robby".

There are similarities between Armstrong and Frazier, and a superficial one between Ali and SRR.
I can't see any among the other examples.

Although not identical, Ike Ibeabuchi had a similar style to Holyfield.

why do people keep saying that? SRL and SRR have very similar fundamentals like footwork, feints, that jab to the body, and the flashes of speed when they're inside, the only difference is SRL used to fight with his running shoes

Ha ha jokes! Armstrong and Frazier!?! Please son! I'll sum up the similarities: They both bobbed from the waist.

    That's it! Literally!

They held their hands differently, Armstrong was two handed ffs, Frazier was anything but! Frazier weaved bobbed and jumped, Armstrong sort of shuffled.

I would say Armstrong was a bizarre blend of J Louis and D Garcia! Ha ha, Swifty and Hank in the same sentence: SACRILEGE !

People are forgetting the classic too: Cus D'Amato's Tyson and Patterson.

It think some of you are missing the similarities of Frazier and Hank, Frazier was clearly emulating that style. and I find Carlos to be more similar to a young Holyfield, and at times bob foster.
