Better MD win (VOTE): Mayweather over Maidana or Brook over Porter

Better in terms of ranking the win or entertainment of the fight?

I'd say Mayweather over Maidana ever so slightly in both categories. Pretty comparable all the way around.

 

Neither should have been a MD.

I had Brook over Porter by a wider margin than Mayweather over Maidana.

I scored Brook-Porter 117-111 for Brook, it should NOT have been a MD.

But Maidana-Floyd was a close fight, I scored it a draw. I wasn't surprised at the MD result.

 

Equally clear to me; 117-111. Maidana made a couple more rounds a tad closer than Porter did in the rounds they lost, perhaps, but at the end of the day Maidana is better than Porter.

To say that it is not debatable is to admit bias.

Dude, I know you like Brook and I'm glad he beat that silly Mosley wannabe and did boxing a favor by ending his run as titlist, but come on, Porter's really not that great, and would get stomped by Maidana who actually has far more skill. Porter is faster (which some people mistake for skill, too often actually) but make no mistake he is far sloppier than Maidana ever was.

...and I know you didn't just drop some ABC logic going by Alexander vs. Maidana, from 2.5 years ago, before Maidana linked up with Garcia.

It was the freaking story of the year in 2013 how Maidana completely transformed himself with the change in trainer and rededicated approach from after the Alexander loss.

HUGE difference between old Maidana and new Maidana, and you've cited pretty much exactly the last example of the former (and the night that pretty much served as catalyst for transformation into the latter) :yep
