Wrong. The young Briggs did not know how to pace himself and lacked experience as stated. It's a fact that his manger pulled his money out on Briggs (then undefeated) just before his first loss. As Briggs matured he gained better composure just like the older George Foreman did. Why is this hard for you to grasp?

Going off tangent won't save you. You can either agree with his points or prove otherwise.

With a 70 plus percent margin in the classic section, this poll must irk you.

It just goes to show how delusional and ******ed the idiot is, I personally don't think he believes half the tripe he writes. I think he just enjoys annoying people, no wonder he's never had a woman in his life. With over 20 thousand posts on here I can understand why. :rofl

Briggs was stopped in 5 rounds by Lewis he was floored twice in the 4th and once in the 5th and the referee waved it off while he was face down on the floor.Pacing had zero to do with that fight and so it is irrelevant as far as applying it to the result.

Briggs had beaten the lineal champion in his previous fight and at 26, and 228lbs he was in the shape of his life.

Lack of experience had zero to do with Lewis koing him ,he had 31 fights when he challenged Lewis, only 2 less than Lewis! Again it has no relevance to the Lewis result

My stated position is that the 26 years old Briggs,no 5 rated with only one loss in 31 fights was a far superior version to the 39 years old unrated version that fought Vitali , a version that had not fought anyone rated for 4 years , nor beaten anyone of note for 4. How hard is that to grasp?

Are you seriously suggesting that Briggs was a better fighter when he fought Vitali than when he faced Lennox?

You actually get sillier as you go along don't you?

They're also among the vast minority of people who actually know something about boxing around here these days. You may want to tune in :good
