Who has the better Defense: Ward or GGG?

    Really? How many hard punching 160lb'ers has Triple Duck fought?


    I didn't know Triple Duck moved up to fight these guys. Learn something new every day I guess.

    Golovkin actually takes Fights and stays active.....Ward is a Disgrace...Never seems to fight anyone but is an enormous Hype like He is the next coming of Jesus.....

    Yeah, I'm not sure who he means either. Unless he's talking about Dawson who came to the ring as a really freaking big LHW (as high as 193) yet drained to 168 to fight Ward.

    Curiously though, GGG has fought a guy who came down from LHW in a more measured way and was considered a big hitter even at 175.

    As for defense - well, Ward is certainly a master of tying up his opponents and spoiling their offense whereas GGG rarely has to worry much about getting hit himself cos his opponents are usually on the run after a coupla rounds. Same result in the end - hit and don't get hit.
