Are there any Boxers your ashamed to say your a fan of?

I like Rosado, he has balls. Fought both Quillin and Golovkin. I'm never ashamed of being a fan of a fighter that loses, that's just silly. But I would be ashamed if I liked a fighter that is a cheat, luckily I'm not.

Guys that I really like that many or most seem to not like at all include: Victor Ortiz, Ward, Dawson, Geale, Kameda brothers, Mayweather, Wladimir, Alvarez, Bradley, Donaire, Povetkin, Devon Alexander... Guys who aren't currently active whom I really like that a high enough number do not (although most "old timers" aren't really disliked at all): Jack Johnson, Primo Carnera, Monzon, Chris John, Pavlik, Vitali...

Still a fan of the ghost, ortiz, berth, khan n Chavez jr and always will be..
there many more but I don't wanna be here all day. Those are the highest profile ones for me

Not ashamed at all but those are the fighters that get the most hate and had let me down more times than should be

 

Glad for Gabe getting back to winning ways even if was just BKB. Kid got battered by GGG but shoulda got the JLL win and might well have beat Quillin (in the ring even though the cards were loaded) if it wasn't for the somewhat premature stoppage.

It wasn't a smart move to drop back down to 154 for Charlo though - Gabe's even pretty big at 160, and could likely carry it up to 168.

FWIW, it ain't boxing but if BKB are gonna put on scraps like Rosado - Vera on the regular, I'll watch.

I don't think I'd ever be ashamed to call myself a fan of a fighter, unless as you say, they later turned out to be cheating or brought themselves into disrepute some other way - but, well, then I wouldn't be a fan anymore anyway.:think

Yeah, I was a big GOLOTA fan. And regarding that thread about the best jab in boxing (which seems to be only current fighters), I always thought GOLOTA had one of the best jabs ever in the sport.

I'm a fan of all real boxers. The ones I cannot stand are the big mouthed cowards who claim to be TBE etc while acting like bitches to avoid real competition. Never giving opponents a fair chance to win

 

A better question might be is there any boxer that people try to make you feel ashamed for supporting them?
