Would Tarvers length keep Joe out range? Could joe get through?

Calzaghe's frenetic pace would get to Tarver who was a slower, more measured fighter. Calzaghe UD

You wish. Calzaghe wins easily by late stoppage.

46-0 undefeated undisputed super middleweight champion with 21 defences, lineal light heavyweight champion, defeating three hall of famers, top contenders and prime undefeated Kessler. Some bum he turned out to be.

Tarver was dangerous at light heavy and would have been too durable to get stopped.. Aged versions of Hopkins and Jones were able to drop Calzaghe and one of them kept him pretty close on the scorecards. Joe's speed and work rate might be enough to rack up sufficient points for a decision, but he'd have his work cut out for him.

close fight because Tarver was more of a natural light heavyweight while Joe Calzage like Marvin Hagler at 160lbs Joe was a natural 168lber. B-Hop gained strength moving up but Joe kept his speed at 175lbs

I think Joe uses his speed to outpoint Tarver 115-113 ish

remember we are talking LHW, where Tarver has huge pedigree but Calzaghe only has pedigree over 40somethings or thereabouts.

    tarver wins.

if you could cut tarver down to smw, joe would win.

Its good to see you have an imagination but you have to consider their lhw pedigrees.

if it was about imagination then we'd be queueing up to ask film director Tim Burtons opinion.
