Can somebody explain why the unified HW Champion of the world who his fighting the #1 rated Contender is being aired on the lowest level sports network in Europe? A channel free to every home in Britain and Europe that shows obscure sports nobody has any interest in.

Isn't the argument that Wlad is only un-popular in America:rofl

I also checked and it seems no network at all is airing the fight in America:oops:

What an embarrassment to what was once the most valued prize in all sports.:-(

Considering his going to be shown live to every country in Europe for free is quiet a very positive thing actually

No news on US coverage as of yet, and it seems like it might not happen.

When you look at Wlad's fights over the last few years, I think Pulev is probably the 2nd or 3rd best opponent since Thompson in 2008. With only Haye, and perhaps Povetkin being better (although that would be a very close fight imo).

It's a shame about the US coverage...hope something comes together last minute.

I remember reading awhile back that EPIX was out of boxing, for now at least...

ESPN3...hopefully something, we'll see, but it's getting awful close to the fight date to not have an announcement as of yet.

The problem with ESPN showing it is College Football will have already started and that is all they show on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to past midnight. Had the fight been this weekend I have no doubt ESPN would have picked it up.
