    Yes he should, if he plans on defending his MW belt after December 13th then there's absolutely no other fight he should take than this one.

    I thought GGG as the WBA champ couldn't be ranked by the WBC and therefore couldn't become a mandatory?

    The WBC have been applying new rules lately. From having two weight division titles for Mayweather vs Maidana II to this.

    Ward had to choose. He won Froch's WBC strap, then was told to choose. He chose the WBA. Bika won the WBC belt.

    Danny is the only current unified champ, and even the WBC site says the WBA champ is Vargas, not Danny.

    I'd be extremely surprised to see Golovkin with both belts on the long term. He ain't a GBP product therefore no preferential treatment.

    WBC and WBA are all about the money. Cotto is the biggest draw at MW so why not sanction his ass? :hey
