True but Golovkin and his fans aren't trying to claim Ward is ducking him.

Rubio is probably the best option since Cotto and Quillen won't fight him. At least Rubio won't come in the ring looking for payday and will actually try and beat GGG.

It's the easiest way to get to Cotto, and another Top 10 guy on his resume. No issue with this as a fight.

C'mon man, just fight Rubio and stop playing games. He's one of the few middleweights that actually wants the fight, so make it happen. Beating a polished boxer-puncher like this guy would do far more for his career than waiting a year to fight Cotto. Of course, there's a strong possibility that he'll look mortal against someone like this, so that might factor in as well.

True. And it should be that way.
People just got pissed off that Golovkins team was saying that no one would fight him from 154 to 168 but Ward was, yet they turned that down but would love to face Jr or Froch.

Golovkins place is at 160. there is much to do there.

i respect rubio and i respect rosado. i think rubio hits harder then rosado and can box a tad bit. if thats the best he can do then thats ok, remember when broner fought bums then went to paulie. it was like paulie still not good enough but better then the guys broner was facing. thats how i see this fight, a step up is step at then end of the day, ggg took a step up ( baby step).

Chavez and Froch both are able to make serious offers to G in fact Top Rank did. Ward right now is in promotional limbo, but even without that he's not the draw the other two are. The money would have to come from HBO. Then consider that Wards last tuneup had a 3m combined purse. So you're looking at 4-5m budget which is massive even for HBO

Ward has said somewhere that he doesn't call out fighters, he wants to be called out, or something to that effect.

I’ve been an advocate for this fight for some time. Rubio is solid, can he be beaten? sure. At 160? Who can’t? Given the available opponents i think this fight makes the most entertaining fight, I actually see this fight playing out a bit like GGG/Rosado. Mid to late round TKO.
