Hya Mc. Seeing the FOTC was a last minute surprise to me as my buddy bought me a ticket and called me up a few hours before the event and told me to get ready...What a night that was. Walking into the lobby seeing
people in sharp attire, with even men wearing fur coats and the tension mounting....We sat at the end arena, and luckily I took my binoculars and saw Sinatra and Burt Lancaster sitting by ringside...I recall before the main event the announcer introducing all the living ex heavyweight champions
and as he walked away from the microphone a roar from the crowd screamed out "Dempsey, Dempsey ", and the forgetful announcer took the mic and introduced the old Manassa Mauler much to the delight of the crowd...And then to the main event where one of my very favourite fighters Joe Frazier prevailed...Indeed the FOTC...

A great memory that I wish I had shared.
Lancaster was the link man, and Sinatra took pics for Life magazine.

I was at that but not with a ringside seat. Great night it was though, the atmosphere was electric!

I'd go for the FOTC.
