I know a lot of you gents saw that fight, Bone and Montes. That boy Bone is a cold drink of water. I know Montes was in punching bag mode but the skill of Bone is undeniable. If his chin is on Par with his skills he is gonna be a force to reckon with. Feedback. Save the bull****.

Just made a thread on that. I agree, Bone looks like a monster on the rise. He's signed with Al Haymon so the good fights are there for him. I can't wait for his next fight.

He is tough but you wonder how much more effective his punches would be if he led with the knuckles instead of slapping.

Trout's very humble and realistic about himself.

No sour grapes about the Alvarez loss, he even makes a point to note that it was his first time ever tasting canvas as well and lumps it with the Lara defeat as basically just being a very bad 2013 for him (along with his grandmother passing away, though he said he did get married last year to make it not all bad...). He jokes that number 13 is unlucky so 2014 should go more smoothly for him.

Absolutely, he was definitely caressing with some of those flurries. He rarely dropped his back heel to fire the right hand, or swiveled into any of his left hooks to generate full power. (instead he "cheated" by rising up from a crouch with them, making them appear meatier and sound heavier)

Yeah, he does and his defense on the inside is excellent. I don't know who he has fought but his tools are intact. The only question for him is his resolve.
