Kell vs Khan is NOT a fight worthy of Wembley!

Matchroom need to give it a rest!

There won't be a fight of that magnitude in a venue that size again in our lifetime, especially not one where Kell Brook headlines it!

    1) Wembley was always going to bring out the 'Let's have it in a stadium like Wembley!' naivety in British fighters who have got a rivalry.

    2) Everyone wants that Carl Froch money!:lol:

It could do decent numbers at old trafford, fill most of bramall lane. Deffo not wembley, esp at froch groves 2 prices

Of course it isn't. Great fight, but Kell and Khan are two of the blandest 'stars' we have in the country.

    I somewhat agree with you!

Whilst I think it will attract alot of attention, i dont think it will pack out Wembley... just like froch/groves 1 couldnt.

However if it is a great fight and ends in a dodgy decision.... then maybe the casuals will jump on board and Wembley will be a viable option.

    Not yet.

This fight has more profile than Froch/Groves I - who could see a fight with these two doing 70,000 before the first?

Couple of fights time with a few good wins each and some extra needle and who knows?

It's definitely a stadium fight without question. Whether it's big enough for Wembley I'm not so sure, but I'd prefer it at OT/COMS anyway seeing as it's two Northerner's against each other - would feel out of place for me down south.

It will sell out anywhere in England, think people are underestimating the casual fan at the moment. The fight will be massive!

It would sell really well. Wembley may not be the best place given neither are from London and each make a fairly big play out of being from Bolton and Sheffield respectively. What about big venue in Manchester?

Nonsense. If sky can fill out the MEN and do nearly 1m ppvs for Haye, Harrison. Then anything is possible.

Old Trafford seems like the best option- if they are looking at mid May then Wembley might be out of the question anyway due to the football. I believe Ramadan is in June in 2015 so the fight has to take place before then.
