Yes it is and inaccurate, Mago ended up the way he is because Perez doesn't have fight ending power and Mago had a very good chin and he ate too many flush head shots.
GGG would KO Cotto quickly and in the long run far more mercifully.

Or Dawson is more powerful than Alvarez. Either way, Cotto never ever stunned or hurt Trout, at all. Wich means Trout, Alvarez and Dawson would have put a clininc on the paralitic Maravilla.

Perhaps, but it wasn't conclusive. Alvarez is a known heavy-hitter and a top notch fighter who most people thought would beat Trout. Dawson is a light-hitting, regional fighter who wasn't given a prayer of beating him.

So, while there might have been some question about Trout's punch resistance prior to this, there can be none now. He's got a glass jaw, end of story.:deal

It's pretty clear we're all in agreement that Trout ain't ****, and he really sucks major ass and there are some fighters in the game who can't wait to get their hands on his sweet ass. Trouts phone will be ringing off the hook on Monday....

Oh the makings of a gatekeeper......we get to see it take place right before our eyes......

    Next up...Mike Alvarado.....

    True and false.

Trout has never been a particularly well balanced fighter off the front foot. It's something of an achilles heel in his game.

Guys like Alvarez and Lara, both CPers for the most part, made Trout come forward behind the jab, and caught him.....

Somehow, it seemed Dawson's gameplan from the start. Cover the body and slip upstairs, then wait for a moment to land the R hand.

Worked to perfection in rd 3, but he was never able to replicate it b/c Trout wised up and saw the trap for what it was.

Rds 4-7, Trout worked strictly behind the jab, rarely getting into range of a counter r hand.

Think it was 7 when Dawson turned his ankle, and that's when Trout began applying pressure again.:think

Trout just doesn't have the whiskers to compete at the top level of this sport. And he doesn't have enough skill to mask his mandibular weakness. :yep

He is competing at the top level of the sport...dummy.:hi:

    He's a former world Champion.

He got off the canvas and took over...glass jaws don't do that.:deal

    Not last night he didn't.

Yes...but he was a world champion before the run in the last two years that most agree has eroded his punch resistance to near uselessness.

Well, they do actually. What he proved in that recovering and sweeping more or less the remainder of the action (though I did give Dawson the 4th, where Trout seemed to still be recovering his legs) is that he does have a lot of heart, not punch resistance - and that Dawson is utterly clueless about finishing since he so rarely gets an opportunity with his trifling power.
