Froch beats GGG, Froch is being written off far too easily. No one GGG has fought is even close to as good as Abraham Kessler Pascal or Taylor. Yet GGG walks through the Cobra:patsch

I agree that picking a winner just on resume alone is not the perfect way to pick a winner but it's no worse than picking someone based on looking good against comparatively weaker opposition.

Also I'm not just picking Froch because he is more proven against better opposition but because Froch has the style and attributes to win. Golovkin isn't an out boxer, he's not going to outbox Froch, he's going to take the fight to him which suits Froch who has struggled with boxers like Ward and Dirrell and if anyone can take Golovkin's power it's Froch.

Also Golovkin is just as easy to hit as Froch and Froch hit's harder than anyone Golovkin has faced. I feel any fight between them will be a battle of power and attrition and in this scenario Froch's experience and toughness could be the deciding factor.

Senchenko? Hatton? Jennings? Ndou? And Porter had a draw against Diaz? Malignaggi? :patsch The only good win he has is against Alexander,,... Not too far as far as resume is concern,,...

GGG won the poll, Froch should do anything in his power to get a GGG fight,,... Why did he include GGG anyway if he's not willing,,...

Its a pick'em, what you like kind of fight.

Personally I think GGG has the combination of skill and power (even at 168) to trouble Froch (who isn't very good defensively and is at his best coming forward, something he won't be able to do vs GGG IMO as GGG punches too hard and too accurate). I think it might look something like the first Groves fight: with Froch more tentative than usual due to GGG's power. His chin might actually make him take a good bit of punishment.

I think the fight would boil down to who could impose their style best as both are at their best when coming forward, getting their opponents into a corner and using their power.

And after the Rubio fight he's gonna be the mandatory challenger for Cotto's belt,,... Looks like this will take much more time than expected,,...

froch by KO, would also be ahead on the cards using his jab in the early rounds with a late KO to end it :)

Off the basis of what I've seen of them both, I'd go with Froch.

More proven, fully fledged SMW, can take a shot, gets stronger as the fight goes on etc.

Also who's to say GGG's power carries the same weight at 168, especially against a hard ******* like Froch.

Good fight this, would love it to come off.

True,,... Just like Mayweather and Pacquiao,,... At the lighter weights they were knocking down their opponent left and right, but now both are reduced to being boxers,,... A case can be made for GGG,,...

Froch wasn't looking to fight that soon anyway, but his team doesn't seem very interested

    http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/edd...-money-he-deserves-to-fight-gennady-golovkin/

"If you want to be critical of Golovkin you can break down his opponents and show they’re not absolute elite level. That’s not Golovkin’s fault because you have to pay an absolute fortune to get anyone to fight him."

"There is not 10 million in the pot to tempt the likes of Cotto or Chavez to fight him, which is the sum they’d want for that kind of fight. It’s definitely a career-threatening fight."

"Yes, Froch is financially comfortable, but that doesn’t mean he’ll get in the ring for less than he deserves, and that is a horrible, dangerous fight.

Froch will win hey he even boxed better against Abraham than Ward did. GGG has got us power but when he hits Froch with everything and nothing happens he won't be the same fighter IF Froch wants a war. Froch is very awkward and strong with a iron chin GGG has a chance but I don't think he will win. Hopefully it happens can't count GGG out Froch is past prime also so there is that advantage Froch has to retire soon.

Yet Froch fans will find something in Hearn's words to twist and make it like GGG is not willing to fight while Froch is dreaming of the fight.
