Ismael Tito Garcia vs. Gilbert Alex Sanchez, 6 rounds @ middleweight

 

Round 1

Sanchez is walking forward, putting on zombie pressure as Garcia loads up powerful counters standing his ground. Sanchez down from an uppercut just before the bell.

Round 2

Garcia is now moving in and commanding the center of the ring. Garcia extends his jab and follows with right crosses on the gob and uppercuts on the body. Combinations by Garcia walking through Sanchez's high planked straight flurries and grabbing attempts. Big uppercut by Garcia.

Round 3

Garcia is circling and boxing, throwing long lead left hooks with right crosses slamming home immediately afterward. Sanchez is hanging in there and swapping blows and occasionally catching Garcia with an inclined 1-2 on the nose but Garcia is mostly keeping a safe enough distance to score without collecting the receipt. Increased clinching now as Garcia takes breaks after every few steps of circling and throwing jab-based combos, with Sanchez ready to reach out for him.

Round 4

Garcia is lapping his arms down across the back of Sanchez's head as the shorter man burrows in and works the body. Lots of entanglement, the ref a bit slow to split them. Sanchez is the only man really throwing with any intent between the clinches, pummeling the body as Garcia tries enveloping him in his long arms. Uppercut by Garcia but Sanchez heaves through and bangs the body some more.

Round 5

Garcia is getting shoved back against the ropes with Sanchez in his chest, tapping away, prodding forward with the right glove and winging left hooks up top, some grazing the bottom of the chin and turning Garcia's head aside. Garcia backs up and flicks very light jabs up from the hip, arm-weary. Garcia plants his feet before hitting the ropes and catches Sanchez with a landmine straight right hidden by his pec on the far side.

Round 6

Garcia is circling away, scissoring his arms together out front and down by his sides, putting out light jabs when Sanchez creeps in. Sanchez is mowing his way through Garcia's jab, slipping it with head tilts and plugging away on the body. Sanchez jumps up into Garcia's face with a jab and Garcia rolls with it pivoting away. Counter right thrown by Garcia hopping away, feet in midair. Looping right by Sanchez pushing Garcia into a corner. Clinch. Break. Garcia moves away. Sanchez pressures but doesn't catch up to him again.
